The purpose of the Outreach Ministry is to strive to
fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus by reaching out to our
community in order to bring others into a relationship with God and other
Christians. Ultimately, we would like to lead them toward baptism, and help them
to grow in faith by connecting with a Bible-based congregation.
Prison Ministry
"I was in prison and you visited me..." (Matthew 25:36)
The prison ministry is a compassionate and locally based ministry of the Jacksonville Beach Church of Christ. Its purpose is to provide spiritual uplifting and renewal, studies of God's word and moral support to the incarcerated and their families.
This ministry is spiritual in nature and is not a vehicle for the resolution of legal or personal issues between the individual and the judicial systems or law enforcement agencies.
If you have a friend or family member in the local prison system and they would like to be visited by a ministry volunteer, please call or text Roy Williams at
(904) 866-7751.
